Account & Data Deletion
Operated by ADVIJJ FINTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U70200HR2026PTC145066). You can request deletion of your payd24 account and associated personal data at any time, free of charge.
How to delete your account
You have three ways to request deletion:
- In the app: open Profile → Delete my account and confirm. Your account is closed immediately.
- On the web: sign in and go to Profile → Delete account.
- By email: write to dpo@payd24.com from your registered email, with the subject “Delete my account”. We action verified requests within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
On deletion we remove or irreversibly anonymise:
- Your profile details (name, email, mobile number).
- Your KYC data held for servicing (PAN is stored only as a one-way hash + last 4 digits).
- Your Credit Care reports and any bureau data pulled on your behalf.
- Your active sessions and saved device identifiers.
What we must retain (and for how long)
Some records are retained even after account deletion, only where the law requires it and only for the minimum period:
- Active obligations: if you have an active or unpaid loan, the account cannot be deleted until it is fully closed.
- Transaction & KYC records: retained for the period mandated by RBI directions, the PMLA, and applicable tax law (typically up to 8 years), after which they are purged.
- Credit-bureau consent records: the consent artefact for any bureau pull is retained as required under CICRA, 2005.
Retained records are kept secured and are not used for any further processing. Bureau Credit Information itself is purged within a maximum of six (6) months of the purpose being completed, per our Experian End User Agreement.
